Melissa McCarthy is recognized for her comedic chops, but the funny woman is channeling her internal villain for her most up-to-date job — right down to the evil snicker.

The actor, 52, performs Ursula in the live-motion adaptation of “The Very little Mermaid,” and viewers just received a glimpse at the film in a new 30-second teaser.

In the clip, Halle Bailey sings “Aspect Of Your Globe” as she frolics in the ocean as Ariel. At the pretty conclusion of the teaser, the tune fades into the background, and Ursula lets out a guttural laugh.

McCarthy only appears for a split second, but it appears like she totally immersed herself in the part of the legendary villain.

The actor raises her eyebrows to reveal Ursula’s signature dark eye shadow and hides driving a person of the octopus’ 8 tentacles. From the appears of it, McCarthy is also sporting the villain’s signature voluminous do.
