MIAMI – Famed Knaus Berry Farm in Redland reopened Monday after remaining closed about the weekend following the brutal attack on its operator in her house.
Rachel Knaus Grafe, 66, was brutally assaulted and virtually killed in her property, at 15775 SW 249th Road, on Friday evening. Her son was arrested and charged in the attack.
Travis Grafe, 40, reportedly conquer his mom with a flashlight. She endured multiple head and chest injuries.
A witness instructed police that whilst he was on the phone with Herbert, he listened to Travis convey to him that he had killed his mom. The witness explained he heard Travis convey to Herbert that he wanted dollars or he would destroy him as well, according to the arrest report.
Travis Grafe then reportedly attacked his father, who experienced a contusion and bruise to his left temple.
This is just not the 1st time he is had a run-in with regulation enforcement. In 2013, Grafe was arrested for assault, theft, and possession of a firebomb.
