MIAMI – A person who police say was driving the auto of a useless South Florida Lyft driver was billed with murder and other counts Tuesday in a individual scenario.
A grand jury in Hardee County indicted Matthew Flores, 35, on prices of initial-diploma murder, grand theft vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon, and tampering with proof.
The indictment relates to the Jan. 24 fatal taking pictures of 43-yr-outdated Jose Carlos Martinez in Wauchula. Police had been actively looking for Flores in that scenario by Jan. 30, when Lyft driver Gary Levin, 74, went lacking just after dropping off a buyer in Okeechobee, about 70 miles east of Wauchula.
Levin’s purple 2022 Kia Stinger was noticed in Miami, Okeechobee, and Gainesville Florida immediately after his disappearance.
