MIAMI – The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Fee (FWC) and the St. Lucie County Sherriff’s Office environment mentioned an 85-year-aged lady was killed Monday in an incident involving an alligator.
Authorities responded to reports of an alligator chunk incident in the 6700 block of Picante Circle, at a 55 and older living community, in St. Lucie.
The human body of the lady was recovered and a trapper captured the alligator involved in the incident, law enforcement stated.
Witnesses stated the girl experienced been going for walks her canine when an alligator grabbed it. She then tried out to get the doggy away from the gator’s jaws and that is when she was attacked by the reptile.
“Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the family members and mates of the sufferer,” authorities explained.
The woman’s dog survived the attack.
The FWC launched the next assertion:

When an individual concerned about an alligator phone calls the Nuisance Alligator Hotline, we will dispatch a person of our contracted nuisance alligator trappers to solve the circumstance.”
