MIAMI – A fiery crash on the Palmetto Expressway snarled targeted visitors for several hours Tuesday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported a Subaru, Ford van and a Dodge van were being stopped in targeted visitors on southbound SR 826 in the spot of I-75. They stated the driver of a grey Mercedes SUV, also touring south, was not able to quit in time for the site visitors congestion and hit the Subaru. The affect sent the Subaru into the Ford and Dodge.
Immediately after the crash, the Subaru caught on fireplace which quickly unfold to the Ford and Mercedes.
The driver of the Subaru was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Centerwith non-everyday living threatening injuries. All occupants ended up equipped to exit their vehicles before they became thoroughly engulfed in flames.
The southbound lanes ended up shutdown for around two hours with targeted visitors becoming diverted on to I-75.
