LAKELAND, Fla. — Nine folks had been damage, two of them critically, when gunfire broke out Monday afternoon in Lakeland, law enforcement stated.
Officials have not explained if a suspect was in custody or supplied a motive for the gunfire.
Lakeland Law enforcement Section Main Sam Taylor was scheduled to transient reporters throughout a 7 p.m. news meeting, according to a social media post.
In accordance to the statement, officers were called to Iowa Avenue N. and Plum Road about 3:45 p.m.
When they arrived, they uncovered the 9 victims, law enforcement stated.
Investigators claimed two people are in significant issue just after the incident and the other 7 all have non-daily life-threatening accidents.
Police did not recognize the victims or supply ages of people involved.
