MIAMI– With migrant people landing in South Florida, curious little ones may talk to “What is likely on?”

“It really is critical to maintain the discussion heading at home,” states university counselor Nancy Morales. “The much more children recognize, the more empathy they are going to have for what is actually going on.” 

CBS4 spoke with previous UM professor of Cuban-American experiments, Andy Gomez, who just printed a children’s e book identified as “Classes from Abuelo.”

“My grandchildren would talk to me why I left Cuba…so I made this reserve,” states Gomez. “I preferred to style this book, not just for youngsters…but for their families, so that they can talk about their own tales about Cuba. 

The book highlights what created Cuba gorgeous, and the country’s precipitous drop for the duration of the Fidel Castro routine. 

“I hope families can use this e book to have a higher knowledge of Cuba…and why individuals are jeopardizing their life to come below,” states Gomez. 

Andy Gomez will be at the Guides and Books in Coral Gables Jan. 22.
