FORT LAUDERDALE – An worker at West Broward Significant Faculty in Pembroke Pines is accused of inappropriately touching two female learners with psychological disabilities.
John Smith, 53, was an Excellent Pupil Training (ESE) Aide at the college.
He was arrested on December 20th just after police say several witnesses saw him inappropriately touching a 14-year-previous ESE university student & a 15-year-outdated ESE college student under his care.
Both equally learners have mental disabilities, as properly as verbal delays, according to police.
Smith is experiencing a few counts of lewd & lascivious molestation of a target underneath the age of 16, two counts of lewd & lascivious perform by an authority determine, and two counts of lewd & lascivious Carry out.
In a statement, a spokesperson for West Broward Superior College reported:
“Our administration and Unique Investigative Unit are thoroughly cooperating with the investigation. Whilst I am not ready to supply information thanks to the ongoing case, I want you to know the person has been taken out from the faculty and absent from students.”
