MIAMI – William Dandy Middle College in Fort Lauderdale was put on code red Friday afternoon soon after law enforcement claimed a college student had a gun on campus.
Law enforcement claimed they been given a get in touch with at around 3:30 p.m., in reference to an unique on faculty property with a gun.
The school was immediately positioned on code crimson, and responding officers located the personal and a firearm.
Law enforcement mentioned the pupil who was associated is in custody. They did not launch the student’s identification.
There had been no pictures fired and no injuries described, law enforcement reported.
Broward County Colleges claims the university student did not make any threats toward anybody in the school.
CBS4 cameras caught the psychological reunion involving learners and their awaiting parents through dismissal.
“We have been so worried,” suggests grandmother Ruby Matthews. “You do not know that it transpires, until finally it comes about to you.”
The university is positioned in the 2400 block of NW 26th Road.
Law enforcement have not mentioned what costs the baby will be struggling with.
