MIAMI – A judge has denied a ask for for a new demo for Mexican cleaning soap opera actor Pablo Lyle who was convicted of manslaughter in the 2019 street rage death of Juan Hernandez.
In March 2019, Lyle, 35, was a passenger in a auto driven by his brother-in-regulation when he reduce off Hernandez at the intersection of NW 27th Avenue and 14th Road.
At a stoplight, Hernandez ran up to the SUV Lyle was in and banged on the window.
Lyle was captured on surveillance movie finding out of the passenger side of the motor vehicle. His brother-in-legislation also got out of the car or truck, but it was not in park and it commenced rolling into the intersection.
The brother-in-regulation ran back again to the car or truck to quit it from rolling and Hernandez walked back toward his individual car or truck. That is when the surveillance movie reveals Lyle operating toward Hernandez and punching him.
The blow knocked Hernandez unconscious and he later on died from his injuries.
Lyle claims he acted in self-protection. His attorneys asked for a new trial in October arguing that the jury centered on the damage triggered by the punch, not on Lyle’s condition of brain at the time.
With that request denied, Lyle faces up to 15 a long time in prison when he is sentenced.
