MIAMI – Police mentioned a guy who fled from them Tuesday afternoon and finished up in a Pembroke Pines pond has died.
The unknown person was pulled from the pond just north of Pines Boulevard at about 2 p.m.
Pembroke Pines law enforcement obtained word that a gentleman required in Hallandale Beach front was in West Pines.
They located him at a household close to West Pines Blvd and 155th Avenue.
Law enforcement explained he took off managing inspite of them yelling for him to stop. Then, they stated, he jumped in, swam partly across and then went below.
Officers jumped in hunting for him, they uncovered him, pulled him out, done CPR and took him to Memorial West.
Neighbors say the person appeared to be underwater for up to 20 minutes.
Pictures from Chopper 4 confirmed heavy law enforcement existence around the pond.
The roadway in the vicinity of 155th Avenue remained closed in the course of the police investigation.
