MIAMI -The Broward Sheriff’s Place of work announced the arrest of a Pembroke Pines person wanted in relationship with the murder of a female observed dead on Interstate 95 around Oakland Park Boulevard previously this month.
On the early morning of Thursday, Dec. 1, BSO deputies and Oakland Park Fireplace Rescue responded to a connect with on Interstate 95 in close proximity to Oakland Park Boulevard about a overall body observed lying following to a automobile.
The victim’s overall body was transported to the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office environment for an autopsy.
Through their investigation, detectives linked Pines resident Christopher Patterson Jr. to the murder, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
“On the night of Tuesday, Dec. 13, Patterson Jr. was situated and taken into custody in Georgia by the U.S. Marshals Workplace, who worked in collaboration with models from Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Monroe Law enforcement Office. Patterson Jr. is predicted to be extradited to Broward County to deal with a person rely of murder in the 1st degree,” said BSO.
