Today’s episode of “GMA3” was missing two acquainted faces: Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes.
The co-anchors ended up absent from the Dec. 5 broadcast of the ABC present, just days after footage surfaced of the pair obtaining cozy in Upstate New York. ABC’s Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos filled in for the pair during the episode, with Ramos noting in the opening of the display that Robach and Holmes had “the working day off.”
Prior to the Dec. 5 broadcast, a number of outlets reported that ABC Information President Kim Godwin announced the decision to take Holmes and Robach off the air through an editorial connect with.
“Though the partnership is not a violation of firm policy, I genuinely have taken the past several days to consider about and get the job done by way of what I assume is greatest for the ABC Information organization,” Godwin mentioned, in accordance to The Hollywood Reporter, citing a resource who was on the contact. “These decisions are not straightforward, they are not knee jerk, but they are required for the manufacturer and for our precedence which, you guys know, are all of is — the people today here at ABC.”
For now, Godwin confirmed ABC’s Benitez and Ramos will fill in for Robach and Holmes, who’ve yet to publicly tackle their marriage standing.

On Nov. 30, Holmes and Robach sparked connection rumors when Daily Mail published visuals of them spending time jointly off-air. Quickly after, Robach — who’s been married to Melrose Place alum Andrew Shue since 2010 — and Holmes (who wed Marilee Fiebig that similar year) deactivated their respective Instagram accounts. Shue also removed all photos of Robach from his own Instagram page.
E! Information has reached out to reps for Robach, Holmes and “Fantastic Early morning America” for remark but has yet to hear back again.
Amid speculation about their romance position, Holmes and Robach co-hosted “GMA3” on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, all through which Holmes appeared to joke about the eventful week.
“You know, it can be too undesirable it’s Friday. It’s been a great 7 days,” he stated. “I want this a person to continue to keep likely and heading and going. Just take pleasure in it, choose it all in.”
In response, Robach quipped, “Talk for your self. I am pretty energized about the weekend, and I am guaranteed every person else is as well. We all adore our Fridays close to in this article — some of us do at least.”
