FORT LAUDERDALE – Protection officers at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Global Airport discovered a handgun hidden inside a raw rooster packed in a traveler’s baggage.
The Transportation Protection Administration posted photos of the gun and poultry Monday on its formal Instagram account.
The put up did not detect the traveler who was transporting the weapon or no matter if any arrests ended up manufactured.
According to the TSA, clean meat, seafood, and other non-liquid food items objects are permitted in both have-on and checked baggage, as extended as they are packed in ice. Unloaded firearms are allowed to be transported in checked bags, but they must be declared at the ticket counter and packed in a locked difficult-sided container.
