Miami Temperature: Entrance delivers cooler temperatures, much less humidity


MIAMI – A weak cold front moved throughout South Florida on Thursday morning, dropping temperatures into the lower 70s and upper 60s.

Some dense fog fashioned in spots, decreasing visibility for some neighborhoods.

As the entrance carries on to slide to the south, a northerly breeze will take more than and usher in drier and less humid air.

In the afternoon highs will only be in the higher 70s and very low 80s. The rain likelihood is low with only a number of showers feasible.

The coolest air comes Friday early morning as lows fall to the 60s. We will wake up to temperatures primarily in the mid to higher 60s throughout much of Broward and Miami-Dade. Some inland locations may possibly drop to the low 60s.

The breeze will build on Friday with gusts as high as 20 mph. The powerful northeast wind will direct to dangerous beach front and boating conditions such as rough surf and perilous rip currents along the beaches.
