Marlins trade with Tampa Bay, increase pitchers to 40-guy roster


MIAMI – The Miami Marlins obtained proper-hander JT Chargois and infield prospect Xavier Edwards in a trade with Tampa Bay and added 3 pitchers to their 40-male roster in advance of baseball’s deadline ahead of the Rule 5 draft.

Miami despatched insignificant league correct-handers Marcus Johnson and Santiago Suarez to the Rays.
