TALLAHASSEE – Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, R-Naples, and Florida Dwelling Speaker Paul Renner, R-Palm Coast, stated Tuesday that a special legislative session will be held the week of Dec. 12 to Dec. 16.
Gov. Ron DeSantis mentioned last month that lawmakers would maintain a particular session that is envisioned to incorporate supplying home-tax reduction for folks afflicted by Hurricane Ian and home-insurance policy problems. But DeSantis did not announce specific dates.
Lawmakers were being now scheduled to be in the Capitol during the 7 days of Dec. 12 for committee meetings.
Passidomo and Renner despatched a joint memo to lawmakers Tuesday about the dates, though it did not offer extra facts about the session.
