Caught on video: Sparks along the tracks interrupt Metrorail assistance

MIAMI – A CBS4 viewer filmed video clip of what appeared to be an explosion alongside the Metrororail tracks, just south of the Douglas Station on Monday afternoon.

It took place at all around 7:15 p.m., as county officials claimed it was a damaged line. They stated a destroyed electrical source line for the Metrorail brought on the sparks captured on the video clip.

Coral Gables Fireplace responded to the scene, but Miami-Dade transit officers had been equipped to shut down the energy when they set the line.

Metrorail was briefly interrupted though repairs were built.
