Turnpike driver crashed in FHP trooper, both taken to the hospital


DELRAY Seashore – A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was strike by a driver Wednesday morning on the Turnpike in Palm Seaside County.

The crash occurred just just after 8 a.m. near the Atlantic Boulevard exit in close proximity to Delray Beach.

In accordance to FHP, the trooper’s marked Chevy Tahoe was sitting down on the correct unexpected emergency shoulder, when a Hyundai Venue veered into the suitable shoulder and rear-finished the SUV.

Both of those the trooper and the woman driver ended up taken to the clinic.

The trooper’s accidents are non-existence threatening, but the female driver has existence-threatening injuries.

The FHP is investigating to see if alcoholic beverages played a job in the crash.
