FORT LAUDERDALE – A South Florida instructor is accused of sexually assaulting a teen.

The 16-12 months-outdated, who is from Connecticut, was vacationing with his family members in South Florida in April, 2021 and reportedly fulfilled Carlos Montero, 46, through Tinder. The teen reportedly mentioned his age as 18 decades old on the app. During their preliminary conversations, the teen disclosed that he was essentially less than 18 and did not like to lie about his age. The teen stated Montero also reported he was less than 18 years previous.

Right after investing texts and nude pictures, they agreed to meet up with. The teenager instructed law enforcement he thought he acknowledged Montero as his instructor when he took an AP Chemistry course on the net. 

Montero reportedly picked the teen up from exactly where he was staying in Miami-Dade and drove him to his property in Fort Lauderdale. Once there, Montero reportedly designed the teen a cocktail. The teenager said he felt “tipsy” but not drunk.

The two then engaged in sexual acts, according to Montero’s arrest report.

Afterward, the teen claimed he felt he had finished a little something completely wrong and talked with his buddies about it.

Soon after he returned to Connecticut, he stored in contact with Montero, according to the arrest report. They allegedly stayed in get hold of right until June 2021, when the teenager blocked him.
