Bullet goes through attacking dog, wounds PBSO deputy


MIAMI – The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office environment declared Monday that a deputy was wounded immediately after a bullet intended to prevent an attacking puppy went by way of the animal and strike the deputy who was becoming attacked.

Police said it took place at all around 2 p.m. in the 5400 block of Eadie Area.

PBSO experienced been assisting West Palm Seaside police with the execution of a lookup warrant when a pit bull charged and attacked one particular deputy. 

Authorities said a 2nd deputy discharged his weapon placing the dog, but the bullet went as a result of the canine and hit the deputy.

The deputy was taken care of at a community medical center for non-lifetime-threatening injuries.
