Arranged vehicle theft crew arrested


MIAMI – The Miami-Dade police department’s (MDPD), seaport operations bureau detectives have arrested many people today allegedly included in an organized automobile theft procedure. 

In accordance to investigators, law enforcement gained details that a team of individuals were thieving cars from big motor vehicle rental companies.

The team would then issue fraudulent vehicle identification figures (VIN) to the stolen automobiles and would sell them to various auto dealerships during Florida.

Detectives have documented more than 30 cars linked with the investigation, reaching income of more than $1 million in stolen cars, they say.

Detectives have arrested 13 folks.

The investigation and arrests had been produced with the support of the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Business office, Metropolis of Miami Law enforcement Section, Metropolis of Coral Gables Police Division, Town of Doral Law enforcement Division, City of Hialeah Police Office, Broward Sherriff’s Office, Palm Seashore Sherriff’s Office, and U.S. Section of Homeland Safety.

Investigators have motive to feel that there may well be more victims.
