Tow truck driver fatally shoots automobile owner in Ft. Lauderdale in the course of attempted repossession, law enforcement say


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A tow truck driver shot and killed the proprietor of a automobile that was becoming repossessed Wednesday morning when the two fought during the tried car or truck take again, Fort Lauderdale law enforcement explained.

Law enforcement gained numerous phone calls shortly just after 10 a.m. about a shooting in the 100 block of Carolina Avenue, investigators claimed in a prepared statement.

When officers arrived, they located the unknown automobile operator useless at the scene, the law enforcement statement mentioned..

Law enforcement detained the tow truck driver, who was not identified, and the driver was stated to be cooperating with the investigation.  

It was not right away clear if the two truck driver would facial area expenses in link with the incident. 

In accordance to the police statement, gunfire erupted at the scene when the car’s operator confronted the tow truck driver and an altercation ensued concerning the two.

Fort Lauderdale law enforcement questioned any individual who observed the incident to contact them.
