MIAMI – As Hurricane Ian will make its way towards Florida, several are hoping to keep away from flooding in their homes with sandbags.
Residents of low-lying parts vulnerable to flooding know what a handful of inches of rain will carry.
Pembroke Pines will distribute sandbags to its inhabitants on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at two places.
