The town of Miami Law enforcement Division mentioned Tuesday that it has terminated Capt. Javier Ortiz following an interior investigation uncovered various improprieties joined to his oversight.
The division issued a disciplinary motion report for the police captain, who has been on the force for 18 several years.

In a published statement, police Main Manuel Morales mentioned the position termination was justified.
