MIAMI – It was a mostly dry and silent start off throughout South Florida. In the afternoon, scattered storms will produce with the opportunity for some hefty downpours, localized flooding, lightning, and gusty winds.
The rain chance will not be as large as Thursday but we stay unsettled due to a southwesterly steering stream and lingering moisture.

This weekend the winds will change out of the east and carry a transform to our sample. Passing showers and a few storms will be probable in the morning by midday and then storms will thrust inland and to the west coast.
Highs will go on in the very low 90s and it will really feel like the 100s when you issue in high humidity.
