FORT LAUDERDALE – There was a massive police existence at McArthur High in Hollywood early Friday afternoon as the school was put on lockdown.
At the very least a dozen Hollywood law enforcement officers have been despatched to the school. Chopper4 overhead spotted officers enter the campus with their guns drawn.
They went setting up to building and several officers were being found getting into transportable lecture rooms.
Pines Boulevard in entrance of the university was closed to traffic.
The school district mentioned in a statement that:
“Law enforcement is presently at the college following a call was gained alerting of a doable crisis incident on campus.
McArthur Higher and West Hollywood Elementary University are on Lockdown status even though police examine.”
