MIAMI – South Florida Democrats came collectively Thursday morning to criticize Republican Senator Marco Rubio for co-sponsoring a monthly bill that would ban abortions nationwide immediately after 15 weeks.
Unveiled by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham this week, the monthly bill would permit for exceptions right after 15 months in situations of incest, rape, or if the mother’s life is in risk.
Senate Republican Chief Mitch McConnell and other top bash leaders have distanced them selves from Graham’s monthly bill, stating they believe that the the vast majority of Republican senators would fairly leave the problem of abortion up to the states.
