MIAMI – A person has been taken into custody after Miami Dade College Kendall Campus was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning, police said.
Police said a third party called them saying they had seen someone walking around campus wearing a bulletproof vest and a rifle.
Miami-Dade police placed the campus on lockdown while they searched for the suspicious person.
Authorities located the person and took him into custody.
The campus remains on lockdown while police investigate.
No other details were immediately known.
