MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Three people died after a car slammed into a Miami home early Wednesday morning.
It happened around 5 a.m. at NE 82nd Terrace and NE 3rd Avenue.

According to police, a driver lost control and slammed into the duplex. The vehicle flipped on impact and caught on fire.

Two people in the car died. A third was pulled from the vehicle and taken to the hospital where they died.

A man and woman who were sleeping in the residence were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
