Spurs beat Heat at Game 1 of NBA Finals

7 June 2013

Spurs beat Miami in their first match at the NBA Finals 92 to 88.

It was a momentous event for Miami when they beat Pacers on Game 7. The team earned a ticket to face the San Antonio Spurs and got their foot inside the NBA Finals.

The first game of the Finals was exhilarating, to say the least. With just seconds away from closing, the San Antonio Spurs held on to their two-point lead with Tony Parker almost losing the ball from LeBron’s block.

Parker made a desperate move to clinch his team’s victory with just 5.2 seconds remaining.

As Parker went up, James was already waiting with hands.

Tony Parker earned 12 points. In Miami Heat, James earned 18 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists. Wade garnered 17 points and Bosh with 13 points. Duncan and Ginobili help their team, earning 20 points and 14 rebounds and 13 points, respectively.

Early in the fourth, the Spurs managed to get away from their 76-73 deficit, eventually outpacing Heat with a 19-12.

Both teams will meet again on Game 2 scheduled on Sunday, 8 p.m. ET.
