Art Basel Miami will celebrate its tenth year with 260 galleries

Art Basel Miami Beach, considered the most prestigious art fair in the U.S., will celebrate its tenth anniversary of 1 to 4 December with an ambitious program that includes 260 recognized gallery worldwide and works of over two thousand modern and contemporary artists.

“Over the past ten years, Art Basel Miami Beach has evolved” a vibrant newcomer fair “major international art exhibition l2as Americas,” the organization said today in a statement.

This exhibition, sister held in Switzerland, has exciting news this year, including the collaboration with the Bass Museum of Art in the section entitled “Public Art”, which Collins Park will offer exclusive works of established and emerging artists.

In addition, the “Art Video” will be presented outdoors in the great wall of projections of the New World Center, designed by American architect Frank Gehry.

“Art Galleries”, perhaps the main section of the fair with over 200 galleries, of which more than half come from outside the United States, will present on this occasion 26 galleries of Latin America, 9 from Asia and 2 Africa.

The “Art kabinnet” focuses on thematic group exhibitions, presentations and exhibits historic and artistic individual stars emerging.

As for “Art Nova”, another centerpiece of the show, this year will feature 42 emerging and established galleries from 17 countries. Each one will present new works by two or three artists, with a total of 109 artists.
